  • Individual Therapy

    Individual Therapy

In individual therapy sessions you will work one-on-one with a therapist. Your therapist works to support you with:

    -Deepening your relationship with yourself

-Communication and strategies to improve personal relationships

-Healing from break-ups, divorce, separation, estrangement or abusive relationships

-Support your movement toward clarity, curiosity, and self-compassion

Your relationship with yourself is the foundation of all other relationships. When it’s rooted in compassion, respect, and connection, it becomes easier to set healthy boundaries, pursue goals aligned with your values, and navigate life with resilience.

  • Couples Therapy

    Couples Therapy

Designed to help romantic partners navigate their relationship and improve it by addressing communication issues, resolving conflicts, and fostering greater connection and understanding. It involves both partners working together to identify patterns in their interactions and develop healthier ways of communicating and relating.

Our therapists use two evidence-based methods to guide couples therapy sessions; the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (GMCT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Each offers a unique framework for understanding and improving romantic relationships.

  • Discernment Counselling

    Discernment Counselling

A short-term form of couples therapy specifically designed for couples who are uncertain about whether they want to stay together or pursue separation/divorce. It’s especially helpful when one partner is "leaning out" of the relationship and the other is "leaning in" and wants to save it.

    The Goal of Discernment Counselling:

Is not to solve relationship problems right away but to gain clarity and confidence about the next step—whether that's to:

-Stay in the relationship as is

    -Proceed toward separation or divorce

    -Commit to active couples therapy

  • Family Counselling

    Family Counselling

Family Counselling sessions are only offered in person and are for 2+ people. The goal of the session is to create a space where each individual can share their perspective in a safe environment, allowing every party's voice to be heard. Family work is not about who is right or who is wrong, rather the goal is fostering connection with one another and understanding each other’s perspective.

    Who Family Counselling Can Help:

    Parents and children (18+)

    Siblings

Extended family members (e.g., grandparents, aunts/uncles) when they are part of the issue or dynamic

  • Healthcare consultation, navigating hospital system

    Healthcare Consultation

The goal of the consultation is to create a space where you can share your frustrations or concerns with the healthcare system, while receiving up to date guidance on how to request support for yourself or family member who is in hospital to ensure you have access to essential resources.

Topics may include: who to contact if you need support from staff within the hospital system (i.e. social worker, community navigator), how to engage with the inpatient mental health staff team including nurses, social workers, and psychiatrists, how to set boundaries with your loved one who is in hospital, and education on the Mental Health Act to support you in understanding the healthcare systems decision making process.
